Franchise locations are selected on a basis of a variety of factors and trends, including population density and growth potential, foot and vehicle traffic, household income level and proximity to centers of activity such as school, churches, business and sports and entertainment facilities. For those interested in opening a location, the process is as follows.

Background Information

Franchise candidate completes background information and financial profile and submits it to Milano Restaurants International Corp

CANDIDATE REVIEW

Milano Restaurants International Corp. reviews the background information and financial profile to ensure that the candidate meets the preliminary qualifications.

FRANCHISE AGREEMENT

A Uniform Franchise Offerings Circular (UFOC) and franchise agreement are sent to the candidate for their review.

INITIAL MEETING

After 10 days, Milano Restaurants International Corp. contacts the candidate to schedule a meeting at the Milano Restaurants Corporate Office. This is an opportunity for the candidate to ask questions and learn about the resources offered to franchisees.

APPROVAL / REJECTION PERIOD

Milano Restaurants International Corp. executive officers meet and approve/reject the candidate.

SIGN AGREEMENT

The approved candidate signs the franchise agreement and personal guarantee (if required)

SITE APPROVAL

The new franchisee provides Milano Restaurants International Corp. with a copy of the lease or purchase agreements for the site(s) under review. Milano Restaurants International Corp. executive officers meet to approve/reject the franchisee’s proposed sites(s).

BUILDING PLANS

Milano Restaurants International Corp. will provide prototype plans and drawings for the interior and a specification list for all required equipment. The franchisee will submit to Milano Restaurant International Corp. copies of all required permits, licenses, and certification for the build-out of the site prior to the start date.

BEGIN CONSTRUCTION

Construction of the new restaurant begins.

MANAGEMENT TRAINING

The franchisee and/or franchisee’s manager attend Milano’s Management Training Program.

CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY

The franchisee provides to Milano Restaurants International Corp. the final Certificate of Occupancy.

GRAND OPENING

The Franchisee opens and an exciting new venture begins.
